Description
Nether Providence Township is soliciting construction bids for Phase 3 restoration of Beatty Run in Houston Park. The work includes clearing and tree removal, site grading, temporary access roads and stream crossings, erosion and sedimentation controls, streambank stabilization using coir logs, repair of approximately 35 linear feet of pool stone wall, storm sewer and culvert work, a wetland pedestrian bridge crossing, trail signage, restoration, and related incidental work. The solicitation requires a signed bid form, 10% bid security, a worker-classification list, subcontractor declaration, non-collusion affidavit, notarized bidder’s qualifications statement, worker’s compensation affidavit, Public Works Employment Verification Form, and other required compliance documentation. The successful bidder must provide 100% payment and performance bonds and a one-year maintenance bond equal to 10% of the contract amount. The contractor must self-perform at least 75% of the work, comply with Pennsylvania prevailing-wage and public-works requirements, and provide specified insurance coverage.
