Description
Upper Providence Township is soliciting bids for storm sewer and roadway improvements along Indian Springs Road and Clearwater Drive. The work includes replacing existing 15-, 18-, 24-, and 36-inch corrugated metal or steel pipe with new 18-, 24-, and 36-inch HDPE pipe; replacing 20 Type C inlet structures, three Type 4 boxes with Type C inlet tops, and one additional Type C inlet with a Type 4 box and Type C inlet top. The contractor must also restore concrete sidewalk ramps, sidewalks, curbs, driveway apron, full-depth roadway pavement, grass areas, and landscaping; provide erosion and sediment controls, traffic maintenance, utility coordination, excavation, dewatering, shoring, cleanup, and final site stabilization. The project is subject to Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements. The awarded contractor must complete the work within 60 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. A 10% bid bond or certified check is required with the bid, and payment and performance bonds each equal to 100% of the contract sum are required before contract execution.
