Description
Delaware County is soliciting bids for inspection, quarterly preventive maintenance, electrical and load-bank testing, automatic transfer switch testing, fuel-system maintenance, battery and starting-system maintenance, reporting, and optional emergency repairs for County-owned emergency generators and associated equipment. The equipment includes engine-generator sets, automatic transfer switches, fuel systems, batteries and chargers, cooling and exhaust systems, control panels, and monitoring systems across six County facilities, including emergency services, correctional, health, courthouse, government, and wastewater-related locations. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, and test equipment; maintain 24/7 emergency-response capability with a maximum four-hour response time; provide an emergency contact number; use OEM-certified service providers and qualified technicians; demonstrate at least five years of similar experience and experience with mission-critical facilities; and comply with applicable NFPA, OSHA, manufacturer, and other legal requirements. The initial contract term is three years with two optional one-year extensions. Required bid materials include qualification and experience information, a technical approach and work schedule, pricing, numerous County forms and affidavits, a bid bond equal to 10% of the bid, and supporting certifications and documentation.
