Description
The City of Bulverde is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms for a citywide intersection and street improvement analysis. The selected firm will collect traffic, speed, roadway, and crash data; review existing conditions; perform intersection and corridor operational and safety analyses; develop future-year projections; evaluate improvement alternatives; and prepare conceptual cost opinions. The work also includes developing a prioritized and phased improvement program, identifying potential City, state, and federal funding sources, coordinating with relevant transportation agencies, and preparing draft and final reports and presentations. The initial scope is anticipated to be completed within six months after the written Notice to Proceed. This is a qualifications-based selection; pricing is not requested with the SOQ, and the selected firm will negotiate the scope and fee with the City.
