Description
The City of Bristol, Tennessee is requesting competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive ambulance billing, collection, financial reporting, and analytical services. The selected firm will manage the entire billing process from patient contact to account closure, including retrieving electronic billing files from the City's secure FTP server, preparing invoices in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulations, and processing claims within three business days of receipt. The firm will also handle collections, maintain a lockbox account for cash receipts, and provide daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as specified. Additionally, the firm must provide analytical services, including trend analysis and quarterly performance reports, and meet technology requirements such as software compatibility with ImageTrend and HIPAA compliance. The contract is expected to be for a five-year term with renewal options, and the City anticipates a go-live date of February 1, 2027.
