Description
Appalachian State University is seeking a university-wide, multichannel communications platform to consolidate email management, improve communications measurement and analytics, reduce manual data work, improve data cleanliness and integrations, and support campus stakeholders. The requested system must support email and SMS communications, with digital signage preferred, and should provide unlimited email sends, sender IDs, branded templates, custom HTML, responsive email creation, segmentation, personalization, scheduling, approval routing, accessibility checks, WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance, reporting dashboards, responsive testing, and light/dark mode previews. The platform must support internal audiences of approximately 25,000 students, faculty, and staff and external audiences of approximately 225,000 contacts, with expected annual growth of 10–15%. Required administrative capabilities include parent/child subaccounts, role-based permissions, unlimited campus users and subaccounts, dynamic-list integration with Banner, and compliance with university security and IT acquisition requirements. Integration with Bravura is preferred but not required. Vendors must provide a complete package-based price, describe available channels, plug-ins, integrations, onboarding, customer service, training, design support, technical approach, project organization, and transition or bridging options from the current system. The contract has an initial three-year term with three one-year renewal terms.
