Description
Clean Water Services is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of approximately 700,000 gallons of 12.5% sodium hypochlorite solution during a 12-month contract period from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027. The product must meet specified concentration, appearance, pH, specific gravity, freezing point, solution weight, filtration, insoluble matter, sodium hydroxide, copper, nickel, and iron requirements. The successful supplier will deliver the chemical in bulk to the Durham and Rock Creek Water Resource Recovery Facilities, follow facility off-loading procedures, provide delivery documentation and quarterly laboratory analyses, execute chemical custody documentation, and provide current safety data sheets. The estimated quantity is for bidding purposes only, and Clean Water Services may award more than one contract. Bids must include the completed Bid Form and Vendor Set Up Forms and be submitted through Bid Locker; emailed, faxed, mailed, and telephone bids are not accepted.
