The University of Southern Mississippi seeks an integrated underwater monitoring system for Gulf White Shrimp research at the Thad Cochran Marine Aquaculture Center. The proposed system includes the MarineSitu C3-PoE underwater camera, computing and cabling, Mangrove software, SaltySuite cloud-platform access, and project-specific machine-learning models for shrimp sizing and spawning-behavior detection. The models must operate within the integrated imaging, processing, storage, and review workflow, with quoted deliverables specifying 90% accuracy for both sizing and spawning-period detection. The notice identifies MarineSitu as the sole provider and authorized source for the Mangrove software, SaltySuite platform, tuned machine-learning models, and proposed C3-PoE camera configuration. The procurement is a proposed sole-source purchase, and written objections must explain why another source can provide the commodity and include supporting documentation when applicable.
