Description
Salt Lake City Corporation, through its Department of Airports, is seeking qualified independent audit firms to perform a forensic and compliance audit of the Airport Redevelopment Plan terminal construction program at Salt Lake City International Airport. The engagement may include document review, physical inspection, engineering review, field validation, independent cost estimating, and federal grant compliance testing. Proposers must recommend the appropriate audit and reporting framework, scope, deliverables, and timeline. The audit population includes approximately one prime contract valued at $4 billion, approximately 315 subcontracts, 1,100 pay applications, and approximately 30 construction general management plans. The project is supported by Workday and Unifier, with historical records available from the inception of construction. A Certified Fraud Examiner may be provided from outside the proposing firm, and responses without a Certified Fraud Examiner may still be considered. A Certified Internal Controls Auditor may be considered in lieu of a Certified Internal Auditor, although preference will be given to proposals with a Certified Internal Auditor or other IIA-recognized certification. Addendum 8 initially directed proposals to an email address, but Addendum 9 superseded that instruction and directs proposers to submit proposals by email to greg.jones@slc.gov.
