Description
Community Assisted and Supported Living, Inc. is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the rehabilitation and disaster hardening of five permanent supportive housing facilities affected by Hurricane Ian in Lee County, Florida. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, cleanup, debris removal, and related incidentals. The scope varies by location and includes hurricane-rated windows, sliding doors, garage doors, and entry doors; roof replacement and standing-seam metal roofing; roof-truss re-engineering; spray-foam insulation; soffit, fascia, and gutter replacement; HVAC replacement; electrical mast replacement; stucco and drywall repairs; stairway, concrete slab, fencing, and landscaping work; and associated site improvements. The project is funded in part by HUD Community Development Block Grant funds and includes federal grant, Section 3, labor-standard, insurance, bonding, licensing, and reporting requirements. The contract term is 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed to substantial completion, followed by 60 calendar days to final completion.
