Description
The County of Marin is soliciting bids for an interior renovation and dormitory reconfiguration at the Marin City Fire Station. The work includes demolishing three existing dormitories and constructing six new dormitories, with associated walls, doors, ceilings, lighting, finishes, and window modifications. The project also includes removal or relocation of window trellises, interior accessibility upgrades to the first-floor accessible restroom, exterior path-of-travel accessibility improvements, and hazardous-material/asbestos abatement. The engineer’s estimate is $850,000. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for October 20, 2026, and only contractors who attend will be eligible to submit a responsive bid. Bids will be opened on November 5, 2026, during a Zoom meeting.
