Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks qualified sources capable of providing full-lifecycle support for the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program spacecraft fleet. The anticipated work includes day-to-day satellite command and control; telemetry-based subsystem health and performance monitoring; anomaly investigation, fault diagnosis, and recovery procedures; orbit determination and maneuver planning; end-of-life decommissioning and passivation; sustaining engineering for aging spacecraft and obsolescence; ground-system support; logistics, warehousing, and spares inventory management; integration-lab and simulator support; technical-data management and training; and coordination with an associated sensor-sustainment contractor. Respondents must submit a capability statement addressing all nine numbered scope elements and relevant experience with S-Band Space Ground Link System operations, satellite power systems, three-axis attitude control, monopropellant hydrazine propulsion, decommissioning, and passivation. The response must include company information, security and facility-clearance capabilities, comparable corporate experience, technical capabilities, cross-contractor integration experience, and at least two relevant past-performance examples from the last five years. This is market research only; no contract will be awarded under the notice.
