Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a firm-fixed-price commercial service contract for repair and resurfacing of three bowling lanes, including the approach surfaces, at the Tomah VA Medical Center. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and coordination; inspect the lanes and submit a condition report with repair needs and a proposed repair schedule; perform all necessary repairs, sanding, leveling, cleaning, and coating; and complete follow-on actions needed to restore the lanes to defect-free condition. The contractor may also provide instruction to facility personnel on proper lane care and maintenance. Work must be performed Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays, and must comply with the attached Infection Control Risk Assessment requirements, including Level III containment measures. Personnel must satisfy VA facility security, screening, training, safety, privacy, and identification requirements. The procurement is a 100% total small-business set-aside, and quotations will be evaluated on price, technical capability, relevant experience, and veterans involvement.
