Description
The Arkansas Department of Shared Administrative Services, Office of State Procurement, is soliciting bids on behalf of the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs for a single contractor to provide behavioral, psychiatric, and mental health services at two Veterans Homes. Services include patient consultations and treatment, new-patient evaluations and assessments, follow-up care, routine and scheduled treatment, unscheduled services, care planning, and related clinical documentation. The contractor must have at least five years of experience providing these services, maintain all required Arkansas authorizations and licenses, employ qualified independent providers, comply with applicable privacy and security laws including HIPAA and HITECH, maintain professional liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 in aggregate, and meet specified response, staffing, medical-record, billing, and performance requirements. The initial contract term is four years, with up to three additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement.
