Description
The City of Bentonville Police Department seeks qualified, licensed, and insured providers to conduct developmentally appropriate forensic interviews and specialized medical examinations for children involved in suspected or confirmed abuse cases. Providers must follow applicable protocols and accepted forensic standards, maintain appropriate documentation, and be prepared to testify in criminal proceedings about their interviews, examinations, findings, and conclusions. Providers must also participate in a multidisciplinary team as appropriate, coordinating with law enforcement, child protective services, prosecutors, medical professionals, and other relevant agencies. Proposals should describe provider qualifications and certifications, services and availability, service locations, anticipated response times, itemized costs and fees (including court testimony fees and related expenses), multidisciplinary-team experience, and procedures for forensic documentation and supporting prosecutions. The contract term is one year, renewable annually by mutual written agreement for a maximum term of three years. The City may make one or multiple awards.
