Description
The selected consultant will continue professional engineering and related services for the transit access sidewalk project, including project management, surveying, roadway and sidewalk design, drainage and stormwater design, erosion and sediment control, traffic management and pavement marking plans, structural design for a prefabricated pedestrian bridge, geotechnical support, utility coordination, and right-of-way services. The work also includes environmental documentation, preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates, and review or updating of deliverables completed under the prior contract. The project is approximately one mile long and includes a six-foot sidewalk and a pedestrian bridge over Interstate 40. The response is a Letter of Interest limited to 15 pages, including the cover sheet, with RS-2 forms excluded from the page count. It must address the specified qualifications, team experience, technical approach, and project schedule, and include the required RS-2 and Orange County forms. The proposed contract term is one year, with lump-sum payment. Subconsultants are permitted; the prime and subconsultants must meet applicable prequalification and registration requirements.
