Description
The City seeks qualified roofing contractors to provide job order construction services for its facilities on an as-needed basis. Work may include roof inspections and condition assessments, emergency and preventive repairs, leak investigation, restoration, partial or complete replacement, tear-off and disposal, installation of roofing systems, flashing and drainage repairs, insulation, skylight work, waterproofing, coatings, and warranty repairs. Roofing systems may include TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, metal, shingles, and coatings. The solicitation establishes a qualifications-based pool of contractors; individual projects will be authorized through job orders, with no guaranteed minimum work. Respondents must submit a qualifications package demonstrating relevant commercial roofing experience, licenses, staffing, safety capability, emergency response, and project experience. The SOQ is limited to five pages, with up to five additional appendix pages, and must not include pricing. DBE/SBE outreach documentation is also required. Bonds are required after an individual project award, not with the SOQ.
