Description
The City of Prescott is soliciting bids to construct a four-unit, 16,315-square-foot pre-engineered metal executive hangar building. The building is specified by performance requirements rather than a single manufacturer. Work includes foundations and slabs, hangar doors, interior finishes, plumbing, electrical systems, heating and ventilation, fire suppression and alarm systems, and an oil-water separator with hangar trench drains. The civil work includes grading and drainage, utilities, storm-drain improvements, taxi-lane pavement, pavement markings, perimeter fencing, and a concrete and asphalt aircraft wash rack with water and sewer connections. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, and construction services, and complete the work within 262 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. A 10% proposal guarantee is required. The solicitation requires a licensed Arizona A-General Engineering contractor and includes federal contract certifications.
