Description
The U.S. Department of Justice's Federal Prison Industries is soliciting up to 100,000 yards over the life of a one-base-year plus four-option-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for 82-inch-wide translucent mattress ticking. The fabric must be reinforced clear vinyl with a heavy-duty ripstop polyester scrim and meet specified weight, strength, hydrostatic-resistance, flame-resistance, fluid-proof, antimicrobial, antistatic, stain-resistance, and other performance requirements. An equal product may be offered, but all materials and components must be manufactured in the United States with 100% U.S.-origin content. The contract has a guaranteed minimum of 1,000 yards, and delivery orders will establish delivery schedules. Offers must include pricing, technical compliance information, warranty and discount terms, amendment acknowledgment, required representations, past-performance information, a domestic-sourcing memo, and a one-yard product sample. The procurement is a total small-business set-aside, and the nonmanufacturer rule applies. Only emailed proposals will be accepted; samples must be separately delivered by the deadline.
