Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service requires a complete package of commercial laboratory furniture and shelving for its Plant Bioscience Research Building. The requirement includes 75 mobile cold-storage shelving units measuring 48 x 24 x 78 inches, 33 stationary cold-storage shelving units measuring 48 x 24 x 72 inches, and 30 mobile chrome-wire shelving units measuring 60 x 24 x 63 inches. Shelving must have adjustable shelves, four shelves per unit, commercial-grade construction, and the specified load, corrosion, chemical, moisture, and bleach-washing resistance; mobile units must include locking swivel casters. The requirement also includes 52 polyurethane laboratory chairs comparable to the Bevco 7500 Series and 14 polyurethane sit/stand work stools. Seating must provide the specified swivel, height adjustment, chemical and puncture resistance, casters for hard surfaces, and other listed features. Installation is not included. Vendors must quote all items and provide technical acceptability information, pictures and specification sheets, a Unique Entity ID, country of origin for all items, vendor contact information, complete mailing and remittance addresses, and applicable discounts. The anticipated award is a firm-fixed-price purchase order with a total duration not exceeding three months, and delivery of all items is required by September 21, 2026.
