Description
The City of Sacramento is soliciting a lump-sum construction contract for pedestrian crossing and roadway improvements on R Street between 28th Street and Alhambra Boulevard, and on 29th and 30th Streets between Q Street and S Street. The work includes traffic signalization, accessible pedestrian facilities, drainage and utility improvements, pavement rehabilitation, signing and striping, and related work within existing City right-of-way. The project also includes interconnection with existing railroad crossing equipment; replacement of rail gate and signal equipment; installation of traffic signal cabinets, controllers, pedestrian signals, video detection and CCTV cameras, fiber-optic communications, lighting, battery backup systems, and associated conduit and cabling; and traffic control, roadway protection, and restoration. The estimated bid value is $4,800,000, with a stated duration of 120 working days. A 10% bid bond is required; payment and performance bonds are listed at 0%.
