Description
The U.S. Wildland Fire Service is seeking a contractor to provide one fully operated and maintained exclusive-use Type III turbine helicopter for approximately 120 days per year at Mammoth, Wyoming, supporting Yellowstone National Park missions. The contractor must provide the aircraft, qualified pilot and relief crew, mechanic and relief mechanic, fuel-servicing vehicle and driver, fuel, maintenance, avionics, safety equipment, and associated operational support. Missions may include short-haul operations, search and rescue, fire suppression and monitoring, initial attack, prescribed fire, aerial ignition, law-enforcement reconnaissance, external-load operations, water or retardant delivery, and related resource activities. The requirement is a five-year IDIQ ordering period with a stated maximum ceiling of $8,000,000 and a minimum guarantee of 120 days of daily availability in the base year. Offers must include pricing for all five years, technical aircraft documentation, safety-management-system evidence and questionnaire responses, and recent past-performance information.
