Description
The City of Syracuse seeks one or more vendors to develop, own, install, and operate a modern shared bicycle system. The system must be independently operated and funded through sponsorships, advertising, and membership revenue, without City capital or operating expenses. Vendors should propose the fleet and stations, deployment and rebalancing, technology and reporting, pricing and membership options, marketing and community outreach, customer service, maintenance, and an implementation schedule. The City expects a local point of contact and 24/7 customer service, and the vendor is responsible for installation, permits, and ongoing system maintenance. The initial contract commitment is three years, with potential renewal or extension.
