Description
The Village of Versailles is soliciting sealed, unit-price bids for Phase 2 of the Northwest Street Extension project. The revised bid documents add roadway excavation and topsoil excavation and redistribution; storm sewer and catch-basin work; centerline and stop-line pavement markings; and clarify that the Village will provide an on-site stockpile of asphalt grindings for contractor loading and placement. The scope also includes approximately 1,500 linear feet of roadway extension, asphalt and gravel drive work, subgrade improvements, geogrid, paving, concrete curb and gutter, waterlines, valves, hydrants, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, traffic maintenance, seeding and mulching, erosion-control measures, stormwater pollution prevention, construction staking, and project allowances. The engineer's estimate is $1,350,000, and final completion is required by September 17, 2027. Bids must be completed on the revised bid form, signed, sealed in the provided envelope, and accompanied by either a bid guaranty bond for 100% of the bid amount or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for at least 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond for 100% of the bid. Bidders must acknowledge Addendum No. 1 and be enrolled on the engineer's official plan-holder list. Ohio prevailing-wage rates and insurance requirements apply.
