Description
Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 seeks pricing from qualified contractors to update the HVAC systems at the Keith Noll Maintenance Center. The base bid covers the work shown in Exhibit 1; the design basis specifies Lennox equipment, with Trane and Carrier also acceptable and no other substitutions permitted. The price must include all necessary materials and labor. One alternate requests Honeywell controls and integration with the existing Honeywell Web Supervisor. Bidders must have at least 10 years of experience providing services of a similar scope and submit three professional references for similar projects. The bid form requires base-bid and alternate pricing, and a current W-9 must be attached. Insurance is required, including workers’ compensation, employer’s liability, general liability, automobile liability, umbrella, and professional liability coverage. A 5% bid bond or certified check is required for bids over $100,000. The district may assess liquidated damages of $200 per day for failure to complete the work by the dates proposed by the contractor.
