Description
The City of Brentwood is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive scenario and tactics training room for the Brentwood Police Department. The selected vendor must design and plan a minimum 30-by-30-foot training environment with at least a 10-foot ceiling, modular wall systems, residential-style doors, window-style openings, multiple configurations, and materials capable of safely containing projectiles and reducing ricochets. The room should support simulated residential, office, and school environments and comply with applicable OSHA and NFPA safety standards. The scope includes supplying all equipment and materials, coordinating necessary facility modifications, installation, testing and commissioning, personnel training, user and maintenance documentation, and at least one year of technical support and maintenance. The anticipated schedule includes kickoff within two weeks of award, design completion within six weeks of kickoff, installation within eight weeks after design approval, and final testing within two weeks after installation. Proposals must include an executive summary, firm experience, pricing, conflict-of-interest information, exceptions, references for at least three projects, and required certifications and acknowledgments.
