Description
The Town of Yarmouth is soliciting sealed bids for construction services to replace the sludge belt conveyor and associated appurtenances at its Septage Treatment Plant. The award is intended for the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. The project requires a Massachusetts DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility for Sewage and Water Treatment Plants and a completed DCAMM Update Statement (Form CQ3). Prevailing wage rates apply. The estimated construction cost is $300,000. A bid bond or qualifying bid security payable to the Town of Yarmouth, equal to five percent of the total bid, is required. The successful contractor must furnish performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100 percent of the contract price. Contract documents include the Instructions to Bidders, Form of General Bid, agreement, plans, specifications, bond forms, and other contract documents.
