Description
The South Hills Area Council of Governments Purchasing Alliance is soliciting bids for any or all of 14 commodity categories: bagged rock salt; bagged snow and ice melt; calcium chloride; enhanced deicing salt; gasoline and diesel fuel; grass seed; infield conditioner; liquid calcium chloride; liquid magnesium chloride; lubricants, including motor and diesel oil; pesticides; pre-mixed salt brine; snow-plow blades and cutting edges; and traffic paint and thinner. Bids must be submitted through the electronic procurement platform. Each bid generally requires a $1,000 bid bond payable to the SHACOG Purchasing Alliance and its participating municipalities. The submission requires bidder information, a PDF bid bond, required PDF supporting documents, addenda acknowledgment, and completed Excel pricing response templates for the commodity categories selected. Vendors may bid on any or all categories.
