Description

The City of Lake Charles is seeking construction services for improvements at the Mallard Golf Driving Range. The revised scope includes four covered hitting bays totaling approximately 1,333 square feet, integrated hitting surfaces, rough-ins for owner-provided ball-tracing technology, dining areas, heating, and architecture matching the existing clubhouse. It also includes a 1,178-square-foot bar area with fold-up doors, a serving bar, seating, granite countertops, paved daytime and nighttime hitting areas with durable golf mats, and two additional charging stations at the existing cart facility serving 12 golf carts. Addendum No. 1 adds or revises signage, athletic equipment, granite countertops, exterior furniture, allowances, alternates, architectural drawings, and electrical plans. The work includes furnishing and installing golf hitting mats, ball dispensers, dividers, club racks, architectural signage, exterior furniture, and related concrete, structural, roofing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, natural gas, and food-service work. Alternate Bid No. 1 covers kitchen and bar equipment, and Alternate Bid No. 2 covers exterior furniture; associated rough-ins and related base-bid work remain included as specified. Bidders must acknowledge the addendum and submit written evidence of signatory authority with the bid when applicable.
