The City of Lake Charles is soliciting sealed bids for the 2025 Citywide Striping Package, Capital Project No. CP3051, covering removal of existing pavement markings and installation of new markings at various locations on 37 city streets. Work includes thermoplastic pavement striping in multiple widths and configurations, reflectorized raised pavement markers, roadway legends and symbols, stop bars, crosswalks, bicycle and accessible-parking markings, parking-space markings, and related pavement-marking work. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies. The project is unit-price work with estimated quantities, and the Owner may add or remove streets to keep costs within the project budget without changing bid unit prices. Bidders must hold the applicable Louisiana contractor license classification for Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction when required. The apparent low bidder must submit specified affidavits, the subcontractor list, and SBOP good-faith compliance documentation after bid opening. A 5% bid security is required, and the successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds and required insurance after award.
