Description
Kern High School District is soliciting sealed bids for Bid No. 6931, Tiling, as part of the Vista Continuation High School modernization project. The work requires a California C-54 Ceramic and Mosaic Tile Contractor license. The project is a public works project subject to California prevailing-wage requirements, Department of Industrial Relations registration, and weekly electronic certified payroll reporting. Bids must be submitted to the Kern High School District Office of Business Services by 2:00 p.m. on October 21, 2026, when they will be publicly opened. A non-mandatory job walk/pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 7, 2026, at the job trailer. Plans, specifications, and standard proposal forms are available through the district's procurement portal; printed documents may also be obtained from Blueprint Services Company.
