Description
Metra seeks a vendor to supply flooring materials on an as-needed basis for projects throughout its system. The price list includes carpet tile, vinyl composition tile, luxury vinyl planks, rubber tile, self-leveling underlayment, mortar, wall base, adhesives, transition strips, plywood underlayment, floor and wall patch, and custom-cut marble. Estimated quantities are provided for bidding but are not a commitment to purchase; bidders must quote all items, and brand-name references permit approved equals. The resulting contract will run for three years and will not exceed $1,050,000. Deliveries must be made within 10 business days after receipt of an order throughout the specified six-county service region, with shipping and handling included in pricing. Materials must be new, properly packaged, and confirmed not to contain asbestos before being brought onto Metra property. The bid package requires the completed price list, contract signature page, applicable affidavits and certifications, and other certifications identified in the bid checklist.
