Description
The Town of Smyrna is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to renovate existing softball facilities at George C. Wright Jr. Municipal Park. The scope includes replacement of infield and outfield fencing on Fields 1 and 2, backstop renovations, dugout renovations with roof installation, and infield improvements involving grading, leveling, installation of infield mix, and replacement of field equipment. The proposal package includes a base bid for field fencing improvements and alternates for backstop renovations, dugout renovations and roof installation, infield and playing-surface improvements, enhanced infield mix, and additional protective padding. Proposers must complete the proposal and cost forms and non-collusion affidavit. The successful proposer must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, insurance, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. Warranty requirements include manufacturer warranties for fencing, protective padding, and roof systems, plus one-year installation or workmanship warranties where specified.
