Description
The City seeks to pre-qualify real estate brokerage firms to provide professional services on an as-needed basis for City-owned or City-interest properties. Services may include sales, purchases, leasing, marketing, appraisal, market analysis, economic and financial analysis, negotiations, advisory services, due diligence, and support for property acquisition and disposition. Sample tasks include assisting with real estate negotiations and contract development, marketing surplus properties, advising on property values and rental rates, and conducting property tours, inspections, comparable-property research, and market studies. Selected firms will be placed on an approved broker list for up to five years and may be offered opportunities to provide services. Responses must include vendor and primary-contact information, three California references, qualifications and experience, any debarment or disqualification disclosures, and a cost sheet or commission schedule. Responses must be signed by an authorized individual and state that the proposed project team will remain in effect for at least 90 days after submission.
