Description
The Washington State Department of Transportation seeks a real estate broker to market, negotiate, and facilitate sales of its vacant land. Services include property evaluation; marketing strategy and materials; property information management; inquiries and showings; offer analysis and negotiation support; and transaction and closing coordination. The broker must hold an active Washington real estate broker license, maintain errors and omissions insurance, and demonstrate relevant real estate marketing experience and familiarity with WSDOT transactions. Required deliverables include a comparative market analysis or broker opinion of value, written marketing plan, property listings and marketing materials, monthly activity reports, inquiry and showing records, offer summaries and negotiation recommendations, closing coordination documentation, and a final transaction report. Bidders submit commission rates for properties valued below and above $1 million. The initial contract term is up to one year, with up to five one-year extensions; individual listing agreements are in six-month increments.
