The City of College Place is soliciting bids from a single prime contractor for construction of Phase 1B improvements at its wastewater treatment plant. The scope includes a new UV disinfection system; two pump stations and associated buildings; a 50-million-gallon lined lagoon; irrigation pivots; chlorination and dechlorination systems; two creek crossings; diesel generators; more than 1,000 feet of 4-inch to 30-inch yard piping; and controls and electrical upgrades. The contract will use lump-sum and unit-price bidding. Bids must be submitted on the forms furnished in the bid documents and accompanied by bid security. The project is subject to Washington prevailing-wage requirements, the federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, certified payroll requirements, and American Iron and Steel requirements for federally funded water infrastructure. Only registered planholders who purchase the plans and contract documents through QuestCDN may submit bids.
