Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport requires a firm-fixed-price contractor to improve Building 1051. Work includes replacing two 6-inch dry-pipe valves, one 8-inch dry-pipe valve, two 6-inch wet alarm valves, one 8-inch wet alarm valve, associated drain valves and related components; providing and installing a nitrogen generation system and buffer tank for the dry-pipe system; replacing the breathing-air compressor and purifier system; installing a calibrated pressure gauge and providing a two-year supply of replacement filters; and installing nine Class I, Division 2 explosion-proof LED lighting fixtures with conduit, wiring, and related hardware above vertical waste storage tanks. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, coordination, testing, restoration, and documentation necessary for a complete and usable system. The acquisition is a 100% small-business set-aside for a single firm-fixed-price construction contract using lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation. The estimated magnitude is $250,000 to $500,000, and the performance period is 180 calendar days from award. Proposals must include the required cover letter, signed SF 1442, SAM representations and certifications, technical capability information, Washington State business-license documentation, bid bond, letter of bondability, past-performance references, safety data, completed past-performance and bid forms, and other requirements identified in the solicitation. A current CMMC Level 1 (Self) status is required before award for systems processing, storing, or transmitting FCI or CUI.
