Description
The Mission Installation Contracting Command at Joint Base Lewis-McChord is soliciting quotes for education and vocational training for prisoners confined at the Northwestern Joint Regional Correctional Facility. The contractor must provide instructors and state-approved curriculum that give eligible prisoners knowledge and skills for future employment and prepare them for certifications, degrees, and licensure. The facility is a medium-security correctional institution housing military prisoners, including individuals with sentences of up to 10 years. Services must comply with generally accepted industry standards and all applicable federal and state policies and regulations. The government encourages responses from businesses of all sizes.
