Description
The Howard County Regional Water Commission is requesting proposals from qualified firms or organizations to provide scheduled and emergency excavation and repair services for Commission water lines. The contractor must provide all necessary personnel and equipment; locate, excavate, repair, and correct water-line problems; clean up and restore excavation areas; comply with applicable requirements; and obtain required permits and licenses. Proposals must address firm qualifications and experience, ownership and organization, applicable violations or litigation, references, emergency-response staffing and equipment, responsible personnel, safety and environmental programs, and equipment and labor billing rates. Pricing should include hourly or minimum charges, moving fees, and after-hours, weekend, and holiday rates. The Commission may use one or more firms and anticipates an initial one-year contract with the possibility of a multi-year agreement.
