Description
This is a sources-sought notice for market research only; proposals and quotes are not being requested. The Department of Veterans Affairs is assessing potential sources for licensed, trained, unarmed security guards at multiple posts, including stationary posts and a roving lead supervisor. Services include continuous post coverage, patrols, access and identification checks, package inspections when directed, traffic and parking control, incident reporting, and related security duties. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, uniforms, equipment, training, and supervision, and meet applicable licensing, certification, and other stated personnel requirements. The attached performance work statement describes a one-year base period followed by four one-year option periods. Interested parties are asked to email a capabilities statement that includes their UEI; this notice does not constitute a solicitation or guarantee a future procurement.
