The Airport Consultants Council (ACC) is hosting the 2027 Young Professionals Innovation Competition, sponsored by the ACC Foundation. The competition seeks innovative ideas from young professionals (35 years old and under) in the aviation industry. Teams of 2-4 members, with at least one member from an ACC or AAAE member firm, are invited to submit abstracts and final proposals. Final proposals must be a maximum of 10 pages and address the innovation's originality, potential, feasibility, and submittal quality. Up to three finalist teams will present their ideas in person at the ACC/AAAE Airport Planning, Design, & Construction Symposium in New Orleans, Louisiana, on March 16-18, 2027. The winning team will receive cash prizes, free registration to the 2028 Symposium, and recognition. Submissions are due via email to accypinnovationcompetition@gmail.com.
