The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting a Request for Information regarding a potential future contract for residential reentry center services and home confinement services for male and female offenders within New Orleans, Louisiana. The anticipated requirement includes monitoring, an estimated maximum of 50 in-house beds, and 20 home confinement placements; home confinement placements would be within 100 miles of the residential reentry center. The agency anticipates soliciting both service categories under a single indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a guaranteed minimum and estimated maximum. Respondents are asked to describe relevant experience and provide information about local ordinances, zoning, transportation, employment access, community concerns, applicable laws, inmate-housing restrictions, and environmental issues. This notice is for market research and acquisition planning only and is not a request for proposals or a promise that a future solicitation will be issued.
