Description
Mesa Public Schools is soliciting proposals for a contract to supply affordable groceries and miscellaneous items. The goal is to establish agreements with vendors conveniently located near the District's various sites throughout the Mesa area, to serve District employees. The contract will be awarded based on a "market basket" of general-use items for evaluation purposes, with pricing to be determined by a percentage discount applied to referenced price lists or catalogs. While the market basket represents approximately 75% of the estimated contract value, vendors are expected to provide pricing for all listed items and may offer additional goods and services. The District reserves the right to award contracts to multiple vendors as deemed necessary to meet its needs, and additional purchases not initially included may be made, not to exceed 10% of the estimated total value of the Federal funds used in the contract each year. The initial contract term is one year, with potential for four additional one-year extensions, contingent on funding and satisfactory performance.
