Description
The Phoenix VA Healthcare System is seeking a contractor to provide funeral and burial services for deceased unclaimed remains. The contract period is from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2031, with options for extension. Services include the pickup and transportation of remains, preparation for burial or cremation, provision of urns or caskets, and coordination of final disposition. The contractor must also maintain chain-of-custody documentation and assist with required disposition documentation. Offerors must be licensed and approved by the Arizona Department of Health Services.
