Description
The City of Pembroke Pines is soliciting bids for the as-needed removal of existing countertops and the furnishing, field measurement, fabrication, and installation of new quartz countertops at Pines Place Housing and Pines Point Housing. The work includes kitchen countertops at both properties and bathroom vanity countertops at Pines Point, with no bathroom countertops required at Pines Place. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and related services; verify field dimensions; inspect cabinet and vanity conditions; submit kitchen countertop joint layouts for review; and coordinate with the City's project manager. Specified products include Wilsonart Quartz 3 cm Gobi (Q1003), Wilsonart Quartz 3 cm Winters Veil (Q2008), or an approved equal. Work includes a single-square eased edge, 4-inch quartz backsplashes, matching-color caulking, vanity extensions where permitted, top-mount basin preparation, faucet openings, removal and disposal of existing countertops, and correction of defects or damage. The initial contract period is two years with two-year renewal terms, and annual unit-price adjustments after the initial one-year period may not exceed four percent. The estimated project cost is $180,000. Payment and performance bonds and proposal security are not required. Vendors must submit pricing electronically by line item and complete the required portal questionnaires, forms, certifications, references, and applicable supporting documentation.
