Description
The City of Commerce is soliciting proposals for a turnkey renovation of the concession stand, support/storage spaces, restrooms, and utility areas at American Veterans Memorial Park. The contractor must provide field verification, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, trade coordination, permitting assistance, safety compliance, cleanup, and closeout. The scope includes demolition and reconstruction of the serving area; stainless-steel worktables; operable service windows; washable wall and ceiling finishes; polished concrete flooring with alternate pricing for commercial epoxy or coated flooring; a commercial wash sink and plumbing connections; electrical-capacity evaluation, dedicated equipment circuits, and commercial LED lighting; a heating and cooling solution, potentially a ductless mini-split system; contractor-furnished freezer, refrigerator, and ice machine; storage-room improvements; restroom cleaning, repairs, and accessibility verification; and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing room repairs. Addendum 1 further requires the contractor to evaluate and design the HVAC solution, identify equipment locations, routing, mounting, controls, power requirements, and building penetrations, and provide weather-resistant detailing, startup, testing, and commissioning. The HVAC design must coordinate with the concession service windows and preserve secure closure of the building. Proposals must include a lump-sum project price, schedule, exclusions, qualifications, company information, at least three similar Georgia client references, a proposal sheet or contract, and required forms. Subcontractors are permitted, subject to the solicitation requirements.
