Description
San Mateo County is seeking quotes for a new folder/inserter machine for its mailroom, including purchase, installation, setup, and ongoing maintenance and service. The equipment must support high-volume government mail operations and process standard mail pieces such as multi-page documents, return envelopes, and inserts through folding, inserting, and sealing functions. Responses must provide an executive summary, machine specifications, and maintenance and service details. The requested specifications include a minimum throughput of 3,500 pieces per hour, a multi-sheet feeder with multiple size options, an envelope feeder with multiple size options, a collator, multiple folding options, and envelope sealing. Pricing must separately address purchase, installation and setup, annual maintenance, and any applicable annual maintenance-price increases. Required responses are submitted electronically through the OpenGov portal.
