TOWN OF VIRGIL BID NOTICE TOWN OF VIRGIL LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS — CONCRETE REPLACEMENT PROJECT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Virgil Highway Department is soliciting sealed bids for the replacement of concrete at the Town of Virgil Highway Garage, located at 1695 State Route 392, Cortland, New York 13045. The project includes the replacement of approximately 2,540 square feet of 8-inch-thick concrete, consisting of a front apron, two overhead door pads, and a rear apron. The Town of Virgil will furnish the concrete and reinforcing rebar. The Virgil Highway Department will perform the initial site preparation and grade work. The successful bidder shall provide all labor, equipment, forms, installation of reinforcing rebar, concrete placement, finishing, broom finish, sealing, cleanup, and other work necessary to complete the project. Sealed bids must be received by the Town of Virgil no later than 12:00 PM (noon) on September 10, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened at the Town of Virgil Town Board meeting on September 10, 2026, at 6:30 PM. Bid specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Virgil Town Clerk, 1176 Church Street, Cortland NY 13045 or on the Town of Virgil’s website www.virgilny.gov . Bidders are encouraged to inspect the project site prior to submitting a bid. Questions concerning the project or specifications should be directed to the Highway Superintendent.
