Description
The City of La Vergne is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Fergus Road Interceptor Sewer. The work includes replacing 2,654 linear feet of existing 18-inch gravity sewer; installing 2,620 linear feet of new 21- and 24-inch gravity sewer, manholes, and associated appurtenances; installing 150 linear feet of 36-inch steel casing by jack and bore; and repairing asphalt. The expected project duration is 300 days. The bid package requires a completed bid form with unit prices, required bid security, proposed subcontractor and supplier lists, evidence of authority to do business in Tennessee, a contractor's license number, a bidder qualification statement with supporting data, a Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit, and an Illegal Immigrants Certificate of Compliance. Bidders must be properly licensed under Tennessee law and listed on the engineer's planholder list. A pre-bid conference is scheduled, but attendance is not required.
