Description
The City of La Vergne is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Fergus Road Interceptor Sewer. The work includes replacing 2,654 linear feet of existing 18-inch gravity sewer; installing 2,620 linear feet of new 21- and 24-inch gravity sewer, manholes, and associated appurtenances; installing 150 linear feet of 36-inch steel casing by jack and bore; and repairing asphalt. The bid form lists unit-price work including PVC sewer pipe, manholes, road and parking-area repairs, a road bore, erosion control, seeding and straw, gravel repair, tree replacement, lighting removal and replacement, and related site work. The expected project duration is 300 days. Bidders must be properly licensed in Tennessee and provide evidence of compliance with applicable state requirements, a bid security, qualification information, proposed subcontractor and supplier lists, a Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit, and an Illegal Immigrants Certificate of Compliance.
